And just like that, another year is about to end. But you know what, 2022 could have been harder without you. I thank you for sticking with me all year round.

This year was far, very far, from perfect. But it was an interesting journey. Oh, yes! The ups and downs—more downs than ups—tested my limits. During the second quarter of the year, I found myself in an unfamiliar territory. Guess?

Surprise? A highly demotivated motivational speaker!

But inch by inch, time after time, opportunity after another, I crawled back. In November, when I spoke in Sharjah International Book Fair, it was an exclamation point that marked my full-circle comeback.

I'm back on global stage!

In December, I extended myself and trained train the first-ever, historic batch of Public Speaking Fellow—marking another milestone in my life as a teacher.

This year's theme for me has been about "courage"—the courage to drop, break, and pick up the pieces and put those pieces together. It's about my willingness to get lost and find myself so I can get back to what the world depend me on.

I'm grateful to my family and friends, who in more ways than one, have covered for me, took good care of me, understood me and what I had to go through. Thank God for an extended life, too!

Before the tear drops, I've never been this inspired to take on the new year, 2023, with more faith and confidence that it will be better. We have not come this far only to stay here—where we are right now. We come here to see what's up and beyond and continue our journey together.

Public speaking is easy when you truly understand how it works. I always say:

1. Your ability to speak doesn’t make you a public speaker
2. Your ability to lead aloud doesn’t make you a public speaker
3. Your availability to host or facilitate doesn’t make you a public speaker.

So, what does?

Only P950. That’s it. Let’s take the journey together. Because you don’t want to be a speaker that no one wants to listen to.

After one year in operation, we go international!

We are delighted to have been chosen by Telkom University (Indonesia) to be its partner in this international certification program. We thank the leadership and the administration officials of Tel-U—as it is popularly known—for their trust and confidence in our Institute.

When we first explored the possible collaboration, we were confident to have their approval. We have already issued a total of 160 certification in less than one year since our humble beginning in February 2021.

One year later, after an institute that was built in Zoom, we welcome the 10th batch of Certified Public Speaker (CPS®). This time, it's not in the Philippines but in our neighboring country of Indonesia.

Our classes start on February 7-26. More than 25 students and select faculty may have their certification in a month's time. We are blessed and equally grateful for the opportunity.

From the President and CEO

The second CPS® (Certified Public Speaker) to be my partner in business this year, Neil Sicat explored the possibility of putting up a trailblazing organization with me.

The result: The Sales Institute. It's an affiliate company of Luna® Holdings, Inc. and D' League Group of Companies.

In the coming weeks, we will be unveiling our programs publicly. In a nutshell, we aim at challenging the status quo. The tried-and-tested way is NOT the best way. Thus, we will introduce a better way to study and eventually make unlimited opportunities immediately after studying.

When I started an Institute in February this year, I have never imagined that I'd be able to create a model for other ventures. Just before the year ends, this is the third in its class.

I'm forever grateful to the Lord for His grace—for providing me with people who share my passion for personal and professional development.

I'm so looking forward to this initiative. It's going to be an exciting journey.
