Teaching your children the value of money and how to be
📌 Teach needs vs. wants. Habang bata, very important to teach the ability to say "NO" to themselves... "kailangan ko ba 'to or gusto ko lang ito?" You can help them with a little amount that they’d have to spend to buy their school baon for the week, show them how they need to spend first on needs, like breads, fruits, and eggies other than the wants like candies, chocolates and kinder joy?
📌 The value of money and saving. Sa mga gawaing bahay, you can offer your children the opportunity to earn money. Compensate them in some of the chores... this practice can be used para mas maintindihan nila ang value of earning money.
📌 To budget. Kahit bata pa lang basta marunong ng magbilang, mag add at mag minus, teach them the importance of simple budget for spending, saving, and giving.Magandang pamamaraan din to educate them is by letting your children answer,sulit ba? magagamit ko ba talaga ito ng matagal? Do this after they buy something out of the money they earn/save, it's a good way to educate themselves on their future purchases.
