As we continue to break boundaries and amplify women’s voices, we are honored to introduce Ma’am Lara Gianina Reyes De Leon, our esteemed reactor for the ⭐ 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 ⭐ with the theme 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀.
An Assistant Professor of Political Science, Ma’am De Leon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fields of Gender, Sexuality, and Diversity in Leadership, as well as State-Society Relations, Political Economy, and Sustainability. Her work also explores pressing issues surrounding Youth Engagement, Agriculture, Energy, and Water Politics.
Beyond her work in teaching and research, she is a Scientist Member and Panel Secretary of the UPLB Research Ethics Board, contributing to meaningful conversations on ethics and responsible research.
As our reactor, Ma’am De Leon will lend her expertise and perspective to the discussions of the symposium, helping us look beyond established boundaries and reflect on the realities, challenges, and possibilities that shape the experiences of Filipinas in leadership, governance, and society. ✨
Join us as we listen, reflect, and engage in conversations that give space to women's voices and stories. Let us come together and celebrate women who continue to question limits, challenge conventions, and create meaningful change. 💛
