Pag-IBIG Fund offers accreditation to leading developers so members can purchase their properties through Pag-IBIG Housing Loans
Pag-IBIG Fund recently offered accreditation opportunities to leading housing developers during a series of roundtable discussions. Once their projects are accredited, qualified members may purchase properties in these developments through Pag-IBIG Housing Loans of up to โฑ10 million per borrower.
The initiative seeks to bring more developers into Pag-IBIG Fundโs nationwide network of over 460 accredited developers and expand the housing choices available to Filipino workers.
Participating companies included Ayala Land Corporation, Century Properties, Crown Asia/Brittany, DMCI Homes, Eton/Belton Communities, Inc., Federal Land, Inc., Federal Land NRE Global Inc., Filinvest Land, GT Capital, Horizon Land Property Development Corporation, Megaworld Corporation, Ortigas Land, PH1 World Developers Inc., Robinsons Land, Rockwell Land, SM Development Corporation, Vista Land Residences/Camella Homes and PHINMA Properties.
Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene C. Acosta, together with Deputy Chief Executive Officers Alexander Hilario G. Aguilar and Benjamin R. Felix Jr. and other senior officers, led the discussions on new and enhanced opportunities for developers to partner with Pag-IBIG Fund.
The discussions highlighted Pag-IBIG Fundโs continuing initiatives as part of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.โs Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program, led by the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development under Secretary Jose Ramon P. Aliling. Under the program, Pag-IBIG Fund works closely with the private sector to accelerate housing production and expand Filipino workersโ access to affordable, quality homes.
Among the key initiatives presented were Pag-IBIG Fundโs higher housing loan ceiling of up to โฑ10 million and special promotional rates of 4.5% per annum for eligible loans above โฑ1.8 million up to โฑ4.9 million, and 5.75% per annum for loans above โฑ4.9 million up to โฑ10 million. Both rates are fixed for the first three years and available until December 31, 2026.
The roundtable discussions also covered developer and project accreditation, marketing and sales support, Pag-IBIG Housing Investment Programs, and the Expanded 4PH Online Sign-Up Facility, providing more ways for Pag-IBIG Fund and developers to connect Filipino homebuyers with housing projects suited to their needs.
Through stronger partnerships with developers, Pag-IBIG Fund continues to advance the Marcos administrationโs housing agenda, expand the housing choices available to members, and help more Filipino families achieve their dream of homeownership.
