Manang is one of my viewers on FB Stories. I happened to message her about insurance last February 2026. Like many of my other conversations, she told me she’d think about it because their budget didn’t permit it at the time.

Sometimes, when people say they’ll think about it, it’s because they really don’t have plans of getting one. That’s why I’m grateful that, eventually, they decided to apply for insurance.

With everything that is happening right now, sudden death and unexpected critical illness, I feel genuinely happy that people chose to prioritize having back up plans. In this way, their family, assets, and everything they worked hard for, are protected.

Manong, a farmer, insured himself. 🌱

Mababa ang presyo ng gulay ngayon, at walang fixed na kita. But he still chose to be insured because he thought, “What if something happens to me? What will happen to my family?”

He also chose to set aside a fund for his 3 kids’ education through the investment feature of his policy and protect his health through health insurance.

Maliit man, at least nasimulan. ❤️
