Sickness and Death ay ang dalawang unwanted visitor ng buhay. Kahit ako ayaw ko pag-usapan ang tungkol sa pagkakasakit or pagkakahospital and related sa pagkamatay, pero as I grow old napagtanto ko ng husto na hindi natin ito maiiwasan kahit hindi natin mabanggit ito sa usapan dumadating sa buhay natin ang pagkakasakit at death. Isang malaking kapabayaan bilang isang magulang at kahit single tayo kung hindi natin paghandaan ang mga ganitong sitwasyon sa buhay natin. Ang paghahanda naman sa mga posibiladad sa buhay hindi naman nangangahulugan na gusto natin mangyari ang isang panget na bagay, kundi ang paghahanda ay para maseguro natin lalo na tayong magulang na ang mga anak natin ay magiging maayos pa din ang buhay kahit dumating si sickness and death sa buhay natin, at ang insurance ay nandyan para seguraduhin na hindi mababaon sa utang ang pamilya natin sa gastusin sa hospital at may maipapamana and maiiwan tayo sa pamilya natin kung sakaling tayo ay sinundo na ni death. Did you know, you need at least a Php 1.2 Million pesos save and set aside para lang sa health fund or para sa emergency? Please consider this and ask yourself this question, before you say wala ako budget for Health Insurance sis eh. Hindi ko pa kailangan yan sis eh.

1. May savings ba ako or pamilya ko na Php 1.2 Million na for emergency use only?
2. Ilang buwan makakasurvive family ko kung sakaling hindi na ako makapagtrabaho or kung nagkasakit ako?
3. Magiging maayos pa din ba ang buhay ng mga anak ko kung sakaling nasimot ang ipon namin dahil sa pagkakasakit at pagkakahospital?

If ang sagot mo sa mga tanong na ito is hindi ka segurado or puro "NO" please talk to a financial advisor.
