GRABE, SKYROCKET LAHAT NG LOPEZ STOCKS!

They are now becoming one of the HOTTEST STORIES in our local stock market!

Hindi ko na lang i-mention itong mga brokers, but most of them previously recommended to AVOID Lopez stocks.

Pero tingnan niyo naman ngayon... THEY ARE FLYING! πŸš€πŸ˜‚

So, ano ba ang nangyari? This is the story. πŸ‘‡

Nag-start ang lahat sa ongoing Lopez family feud, particularly sa attempt ng majority Lopez shareholders na alisin si Federico "Piki" Lopez from his leadership role in First Gen.

Dito na lumabas ang controversial "poison pill" provisions connected to FGEN's transactions with Prime Infrastructure. These provisions could impose significant financial consequences if there is a change in management control.

SECOND β€” FGEN's gas business deal with Prime Infra.

Important clarification: Hindi binenta ang FGEN sa Prime Infra.

What happened was, First Gen sold a 60% stake in five gas-fired power plants to Enrique Razon Jr.'s Prime Infrastructure for around β‚±50 BILLION, while FGEN retained an interest in the business.

This transaction became one of the major sources of the Lopez family dispute.

THIRD β€” THE $5 BILLION EDC BOMBSHELL! πŸ’₯

Then came the BIG ONE.

Indonesia's Barito Renewables Energy (BREN) made an unsolicited, indicative and non-binding offer to acquire Energy Development Corporation (EDC) for approximately US$5 BILLION.

EDC is FGEN's geothermal powerhouse and one of the biggest renewable energy companies in the Philippines.

The market immediately started asking:

And since FGEN has a significant economic stake in EDC, investors suddenly started reassessing the value of FGEN.

At the time of the announcement, FGEN shares surged as much as 33% intraday and eventually closed 18.42% higher.

FOURTH β€” RAMON ANG ENTERS THE LOPEZ EMPIRE.

And now, another pasabog!

Ramon S. Ang acquired a 25.68% stake in Lopez Inc. from the family branch of former ABS-CBN chairman Eugenio "Gabby" Lopez III.

This is a HUGE development because Lopez Inc. sits at the top of the family's private holding structure, with exposure to businesses including FPH, FGEN, Rockwell and ABS-CBN.

BUT important clarification:

Hindi ibig sabihin na Ramon Ang already controls the entire Lopez Group.

He now has a major stake and significant foothold, but the exact control structure depends on the remaining ownership and voting arrangements of Lopez Inc.

Still, this is one of the biggest changes in Lopez Group ownership in recent years.

FIFTH β€” FGEN DELISTING STORY.

And here's another reason why investors are suddenly paying attention to FGEN.

Even before the current Lopez family drama, FGEN had already been open to the possibility of going private/delisting.

In November 2025, FGEN CEO Federico Lopez said the company was open to the possibility of delisting if the opportunity presented itself, although there were no definitive plans at that time.

Why is this important?

Because FGEN has a relatively small public float, and the stock has historically traded at a valuation that some investors consider too low compared with the underlying value of its assets.

So ngayon, investors are asking:

Could the Lopez Group eventually take FGEN private at a premium?

Wala pang confirmed deal.

But the possibility alone is already part of the market narrative.

In short,

LOPEZ STOCKS ARE SKYROCKETING.

And look at the names involved:

ABS β€” ABS-CBN
LPZ β€” Lopez Holdings
FPH β€” First Philippine Holdings
ROCK β€” Rockwell Land
FGEN β€” First Gen

honestly...

Ang sakit lang isipin.

After watching all these developments.

NI ISA WALA AKONG HAWAK. πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

HAHAHAHAHAHA! 🀣

Note: This post is based on my personal experience and for transparency purposes.

So eto na,

Nareceive ko na last week ang Notice of Approval (NOA) from Pag-Ibig, included ang breakdown ng monthly amortization, additional charges and detalye ng subsidy from our Government.

Before I proceed, I'd like to share that I chose the 30 years loan term period kay Pag-Ibig for the 4PH Housing Program.

Then I also availed the insurance package covering life and house insurance, incase mamatay ako dahil sa accident or any other unintentional death, the loan is FULLY PAID automaticaly and mapupunta sa beneficiary ko ang bahay at lupa.

Now, the monthly computation of my monthly amortization is β‚±4,725.02 for 30 years to pay.

eto nakaka excite, there is a deduction in my monthly amortization, dito na nagrereflect ang subsidy ng Government for this 4PH Housing Program.

Hindi lang subsidy on the interest rate na 3% but it's also a subsidy on the monthly amortization.

The total monthly subsidy is β‚±1,412.13, meaning ang babayaran ko nalang is β‚±3,312.89/month.

Meaning, it was clear that the monthly subsidy is temporary only and pwedeng iterminate any time ng Government if maubos na ang budget or whatever reason.

Regarding the Interest Rate, the 3% is for 5 years only subject to re-evaluation ni Pag Ibig if qualified parin ako para ma extend ito ng another 5 years.

Ang uncertainty lang is possible na after 10-20 years, pwedeng itaas ni Pag Ibig ang interest rate for 4PH Program ng hanggang 5-6% kaya dapat natin paghandaan.

I availed a Housing Program for only 3300/month, Move-in deretso once ready na lahat! Para ka talagang nag RENT TO OWN ng property. Perfect for Minimum Wage Earners!

The β‚±85 NCR wage increase was temporarily suspended dahil sa utos ng Pasig Trial Court.

Here's what happened πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

Just days after PBBM's SONA and about five weeks after DOLE announced the β‚±85 daily wage increase for NCR Minimum Wage Workers, its implementation has been TEMPORARILY STOPPED.

On July 30, 2026, the Pasig Regional Trial Court issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) against NCR Wage Order No. 27, temporarily suspending the β‚±85 wage increase.

The TRO was granted after construction firms Readycon Trading and Construction Corp. and R-II Builders Inc. filed a petition, arguing that the sudden increase in labor costs would not be sustainable for their businesses.

DOLE clarified that workers who already received the β‚±85 increase before the TRO was issued will NOT be required to return the money.

According to Labor Secretary Francis Tolentino, those workers already acquired a vested right to the wage increase because there was no court order stopping its implementation at the time they were paid.

In Senate, Zubiri filed Senate Resolution No. 577, urging the immediate lifting of the TRO.

The resolution, signed by all senators, argues that under Article 126 of the Labor Code, courts are prohibited from issuing injunctions or TROs against wage orders and proceedings of the National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) and Regional Wage Boards.

So now the question is, matutuloy pa ba or paasa lang??

PAX SILICA. After ko mapanood ang special report ng KMJS about PAX SILICA, here's my unfiltered opinion about this MEGA AI Project.

The project will use more than 1,600 hectares of land in New Clark City, which will affect nearby barangay, sitio, and tribal communities living in the area.

BCDA declared the area as public land, but the communities are saying na walang nangyaring public consultation.

PAX SILICA will use a huge amount of water, with one data center equivalent to the water consumption of around 1,100 households. Will rainwater alone be enough to supply what this AI infrastructure needs? Personally, I don't think so.

PAX SILICA will also require a massive amount of electricity.

Although PAX SILICA may generate quality jobs for thousands of Filipinos, I still wonder if this is morally right if kapalit naman nito ang pagkawala ng agricultural land at kabuhayan ng mga Aeta at iba pang komunidad na matagal nang naninirahan sa lugar. How sure are we na mabibigyan sila ng maayos na relocation, sapat na kabuhayan, o trabaho?

The biggest beneficiary of this project will be the U.S. They will benefit and uubusin pa nito ang ating natural resources.

I don't think our country is the ideal location for this kind of mega project. 🚩

Upon checking MERALCO's monthly timeframe sa Philippine Stock Exchange, nasa β‚±400 ang hula kong ibabagsak nito from the current price of β‚±480 for a bearish scenario. Equivalent to another loss of -16%.
