I saw this on threads and it makes me realized more we need to focus on building structure in our own finances.

Here in the Philippines unlike the other countries, we have less priority on Good Healthcare system, so you have to go on extensive preparation to make sure that you can cover all expenses on your Hospitalizations and Recovery period.

If you are planning to build and make structure HMO's , Health Insurance and Emergency Funds are the areas you need to look at as priority areas.

Mahirap magkasakit sa bansang pinamumunuan ng mga corrupt at walang malasakit sa mamamayan.

Sa Pilipinas, kapag nagkasakit ka, hindi lang katawan mo ang bibigay, pati ipon mo, minsan pati kinabukasan ng pamilya mo.

Walang libreng gamutan. Walang sapat na suporta.

Kapag wala kang pera, pipila ka sa public hospital na kulang sa gamit, kulang sa k**a, kulang sa malasakit.

Kapag may pera ka, may choice ka. Kapag wala, tiis o utang ang kapalit.

Kaya bago ka magluho, mag-isip ka.

Bago ka bumili ng bagong gamit, bagong cellphone, o magbakasyon, tanungin mo muna ang sarili mo:

Handa ka ba kapag nagkasakit ka?

Handa ba ang pamilya mo?

Ang pag-iipon at pag-iinvest ay hindi yabang.
Hindi ito luho.

Ito ay proteksyon laban sa sistemang hindi ka ililigtas kapag ikaw ay bumagsak.

Sa bansang ito, hindi sapat ang sipag.
Kailangan mo ng plano.
Kailangan mo ng ipon.
Kailangan mo ng disiplina.
