Pag-IBIG Fund and DMW Team Up to Help More Workers Find a Home
Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene C. Acosta and Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac came together today, November 18, 2025, to launch a partnership that aims to bring the dream of homeownership closer to the dedicated men and women of the DMW. The ceremonial signing was joined by key officials from both agencies, including Pag-IBIG Deputy Chief Executive Officer Alexander Hilario Aguilar and DMW Undersecretary Dominique Rubia-Tutay, all showing their full support for this shared mission.
Through the new MOU, Pag-IBIG Fund and DMW will work hand in hand to guide DMW personnel through their housing journey, from exploring available projects, to finding suitable homes, to preparing requirements and filing loan applications. The goal is simple: to make the process easier and more accessible for the dedicated team who looks after our OFWs and their families.
CEO Acosta shared that the heart of this partnership lies in recognizing the dedication of DMW employees, noting that it is about βmaking sure they also have opportunities to build safe and stable homes for their families.β The DMW will help identify interested staff and support them through the next steps, ensuring that no employee navigates the process alone.
With this collaboration, both agencies look forward to helping more DMW personnel move closer to the comfort, security, and dignity that come with having a place to call their own, as Pag-IBIG Fund continues to forge more partnerships with government and private institutions to bring the dream of homeownership to more Filipino workers.
