We put our money in the bank because for us, it is safer or more secure. But, what does the bank do to our money?
1. Lend to people (loan)
2. Place in investment vehicles like Mutual Funds
Mutual fund companies give the banks an average 12% annually and if banks give us 1% annually, where is the 11% now? in the banks.
So, instead of putting all your money in the bank, why not invest some of it and go directly to Stock Market/Mutual Funds or other investment vehicles that give a higher rate of return?
Banks are good for business transactions and emergency funds, but not good for long-term investment especially if your purpose is for retirement, kids education, and future medical expenses.

May nakausap ako. Gusto daw niya mag invest sa stock market. Pero wala siyang alam. At busy sa trabaho at ibang bagay.
