Davao City has approved its 2022–2031 Local Shelter Plan on December 9, 2025—a ₱17B roadmap to address the city’s housing backlog through vertical housing, rental units, rent-to-own schemes, and relocation for families in danger zones and informal settlements. The plan aims to provide safer, affordable, and sustainable homes for Dabawenyos.
