Am I the only one bothered by thinking that P1M is NOT ENOUGH to survive prolonged medication and hospital bills when critical illnesses come? 🤒💸
This is a valid concern. 💯
Let's do the math:
CRITICAL ILLNESS COSTS:
Cancer treatment:
💸 Chemotherapy: P500,000 - P2,000,000
💸 Radiation: P200,000 - P800,000
💸 Surgery: P300,000 - P1,000,000
💸 Medication (ongoing): P50,000 - P200,000/month
💸 Hospital stays, labs, etc.: P100,000+
TOTAL: P1,500,000 - P5,000,000+ 😰
Stroke/Heart attack:
💸 Surgery: P300,000 - P2,000,000
💸 ICU stay: P15,000 - P50,000/day
💸 Rehab: P500,000+
💸 Medication (lifelong): P20,000 - P50,000/month
TOTAL: P1,000,000 - P3,000,000+ 💔
Kidney failure (Dialysis):
💸 P2,500 - P3,500 per session
💸 3x per week = P10,000 - P10,500/week
💸 Per month: P40,000 - P42,000
💸 Per year: P480,000 - P504,000
💸 LIFELONG 😰💸
See? P1,000,000 is NOT ENOUGH. 🚫
Kaya ang advice:
GET HIGHER COVERAGE. ✅
Aim for:
- P3,000,000 minimum
- P5,000,000 better
- P10,000,000 ideal (if kaya)
Kasi medical costs keep increasing. 📈
Don't settle for P1M lang. Kulang yan. 💔
Increase your coverage. Protect yourself better. ⏰🛡️
