Silangan Multipurpose Cooperative successfully conducted a Community Livelihood Training entitled “Fuzzy Wire Flower Making” last May 25, 2026, for residents of Barangay 7-A in coordination with the City Cooperative Development Office (CCDO) and Brgy. Captain Michael John Selwyn S. Orilla.

This meaningful CSR activity aimed to empower community members by enhancing their creativity and providing them with additional livelihood opportunities through handcrafted flower making.

The activity was made possible through the full support of our Board of Directors headed by Chairperson Federico L. Bañez, together with the participation of CSR Head Committee Mr. Abito E. Salcedo III.

Silangan MPC remains committed in promoting sustainable livelihood programs and uplifting communities through skills development and cooperative social responsibility.

Today, Silangan Multipurpose Cooperative extended assistance to 445 affected families of Barangay 23-C, Davao City through the distribution of relief goods consisting of 5kg rice and grocery packs following the devastating fire incident that happened last May 8, 2026.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the generosity and support of our Board of Directors led by Chairperson Federico L. Bañez, together with the Management and employees of Silangan MPC. The distribution was also successfully coordinated with the Barangay Officials of Barangay 23-C headed by Brgy. Captain Johaina Dimalna Usman.

May this simple act of kindness bring comfort, hope, and encouragement to our fellow community members as they rebuild their homes and lives. Together, we rise as one community. 🙏
