Let’s give it up for our quiet champion, Jhed Raven R. Montebon! ♟️
While most of the spotlight during the intramurals was on the performances and games happening on stage or on the court, there was another kind of battle going on—one that was just as intense, but held in the quiet corners of a classroom. That’s where Jhed showed his skills in the strategic world of chess.
Move after move, he faced his opponents with focus, patience, and determination. Every match was a mental battle, requiring not just intelligence, but also composure and foresight. Through all the pressure, Jhed played with humility and grace, representing Grade 9 – Acacia proudly.
In the end, his hard work and sharp thinking earned him 3rd place in the chess competition—a victory that may not have been seen live by the crowd, but was truly worth celebrating.
Jhed, you’ve shown us that not all champions are in the spotlight; some quietly win their battles and inspire us through their example. We are proud of you, and we know this is just the start of many more victories ahead. 🌿💚
