In times of hardship, the strength of a cooperative is reflected in how we support one another.

The Davao Doctors Multipurpose Cooperative (DDMPC) is extending Member Welfare Assistance to members whose households were affected by the recent flooding.

Eligible members are encouraged to submit the required documents to the DDMPC Office for verification and processing.

Please refer to the poster for the complete list of requirements and guidelines.

📢 DDMPC Quarterly Newsletter – Quarter 2, 2026

We are pleased to share the highlights of our cooperative's activities for the second quarter of 2026:

📌 Strengthening Partnerships Through Cooperative Engagement – DDMPC actively participated in three major cooperative assemblies and educational forums, reinforcing our commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence in the cooperative movement.

📌 Community Extension and Team Building – Our cooperative extended support to the Rainbow Intervention Center for Autism Foundation, Inc. (RICAFI) through the donation of office furniture, followed by a team-building activity that strengthened unity among our Board of Directors, Committee Officers, and Administrative Staff.

📌 Advancing Cooperative Knowledge and Good Governance – DDMPC conducted seminars on the Fundamentals of Cooperatives and Good Governance and Management of Cooperatives, empowering our members and leaders with the knowledge and skills to better serve the cooperative.

The DDMPC in coordination with the GAD Committee is incredibly proud to announce the winner of our Pride Spotlight: Inspiring Voices, Shared Success initiative!

Join us in celebrating fellow co-op member Leonardo C. Matunding for his outstanding, deeply moving winning entry: "C.O.O.P.—Compassion Outreach and Open-hearted Person."

In a beautiful display of creative writing and storytelling, Leonardo brilliantly re-imagined the very acronym of our cooperative, turning C.O.O.P. into a powerful manifesto for inclusivity, unity, and acceptance:

Who inspires you in our DDMPC community? ✨

Diversity makes our cooperative stronger! This Pride Month, the DDMPC GAD Committee is proud to launch the Pride Spotlight: Inspiring Voices, Shared Success initiative.

We want to recognize and celebrate LGBT members of our cooperative who inspire others through their exceptional character, leadership, selfless service, or positive influence within the community.

If you know a fellow member who embodies these values, help us tell their story!

🏆 The Awards:
1st Place: Php 3,000 + Certificate of Recognition
2nd Place: Php 2,000 + Certificate of Recognition
3rd Place: Php 1,000 + Certificate of Recognition

📝 How to Nominate & Guidelines:
You can nominate a fellow member (or even self-nominate!) by sharing how they make a difference.

Co-op Membership Requirement:
To keep this a true community initiative, both the nominee and the person submitting the entry must be active members of DDMPC.

Building a stronger cooperative starts with education.

Over the weekend of May 23-24, our new DDMPC members and potential leaders took a big step forward by completing the Seminar on Fundamentals of Cooperatives at the DDC Caduceus Building. This CDA-mandated training, held in coordination with the Cooperative Federation of Davao City (CFDC), provided everyone with the essential insights needed to lead and contribute meaningfully to our cooperative.

Purpose and teamwork defined our weekend last April 11-12, 2026.

The DDMPC Board of Directors, Admin Staff, and Committee Officers organized a community extension activity at the Rainbow Intervention Center For Autism Foundation, Inc. (RICAFI), bringing essential supplies to help support their wonderful advocacy.

To conclude the weekend, the team gathered at Casa Felina in Catalunan Pequeño for our annual team building. It was the perfect space to strengthen our team dynamics and reflect on how we can continue to drive impactful initiatives for our cooperative and the community.

We are pleased to share the latest milestones and activities of our cooperative for the first quarter of 2026:

📌 37th General Assembly: United in Purpose and Service – Members gathered to celebrate unity, shared prosperity, and DDMPC’s continued commitment to building a healthier community.
📌 Leadership Transition and Election of New Officers – A Special Board Meeting was conducted to facilitate the smooth transition of leadership and election of key officers for the new term.
📌 PFCCO–Mindanao League Forum 2026 – DDMPC participated in the Business Center Assembly and Educational Forum in Koronadal, South Cotabato, strengthening collaboration and learning within the cooperative sector.
