Empowering the Next Generation: Youth Leaders Master the Art of Parliamentary Procedure!

The CMC Boardroom was energized on April 17, 2026 as our young leaders gathered for an intensive Youth Parliamentary Procedure Training.

The day kicked off with an inspiring opening program by the welcome remarks by our Chief Executive Officer, Neomelito D. Nunez. CEO Nunez shared that he wasn't always the confident leader he is today. He reminded the participants how fortunate they are to have this platform, revealing that, just like many of them, he was once timid and shy. His message was clear: Where you start doesn’t limit where you can go.

Our Chairperson of the Board, Paulo F. Tagsip, took the floor to lead the sessions. From proper decorum to the flow of a meeting agenda, participants learned that every "point of order" matters. Chairperson Tagsip guided the youth through the complexities of technical motions and the nuances of voting—the key to ensuring every voice is heard fairly.

The highlight of the day was the Mock Session Workshop. Our participants didn’t just listen; they stepped into the roles of chairpersons and committee members. There were motions, debates, and plenty of "I second the motion!" moments. Under the guidance of the trainer, the youth received real-time critiquing to sharpen their skills and build their confidence.

We wrapped up the morning with a heartfelt awarding ceremony and a photo op to capture the smiles of our newly minted parliamentary pros. The day concluded with a fellowship lunch, fostering bonds that go beyond the boardroom.

A huge shoutout to our Masters of Ceremony, Xylie & Ash, for keeping the energy high, and to the organizers for the seamless coordination!

We are proud to share the highlights of our recent Organizational Meeting & Oath Taking Ceremony, a day dedicated to progress, transparency, and the continued empowerment of our members..

We are honored to officially introduce our newly elected BOD Chairperson, Mr. Paulo F. Tagsip. In a stirring acceptance speech, Chairperson Tagsip emphasized a renewed commitment to cooperative excellence and community-driven growth. Under his leadership, we are confident in our journey toward even greater heights!

The ceremony was formalized by our Inducting Officer, Hon. Cesar C. Suan, our beloved Municipal Mayor. In a powerful inspirational message, Mayor Suan highlighted that CMC has been a pillar for a thriving Cordova. He thanked CMC for its unwavering commitment to providing financial services that serve as a lifeline for many, effectively uplifting the quality of life for every Cordovanhon.

Rewarding Excellence: CMC Supports Our Young Achievers!

At Cordova Multipurpose Cooperative (CMC), we don’t just celebrate success—we invest in it!

Last March 30 and 31, 2026, as part of our Community Social Responsibility (CSR) , CMC took part in the graduation ceremonies of 14 Public Schools across Cordova & 4 schools within our service areas in Lapu-Lapu City.

To honor their hard work and dedication, we were thrilled to present the Top 2 Outstanding Pupils of each class with Cash Awards, Official Certificates of Recognition, & CMC Medals of Excellence

Representatives from our Head Office, Main Office, and our Lapulapu, Basak and Olango Branches were present to personally hand out these awards, witnessing the pride of parents and the bright smiles of our graduates.

By supporting these young leaders today, we are building a more empowered and cooperative community for tomorrow.

The Cordova Multipurpose Cooperative (CMC) marked a significant milestone as it transitioned from its 54th General Assembly to its 1st Representative Assembly on March 15, 2026 at Crown Regency Suites & Residences Mactan bringing together members in a shared commitment to unity, service, and growth.

Anchored on the theme “Kooperatiba: Panaghi-usa sa Katuyoan, Pagpa-ambit sa Kalamposan alang sa Kauswagan sa Tanan,” the assembly emphasized the vital role of every Member in Good Standing in sustaining a strong, transparent, and progressive cooperative.

The event featured an inspiring keynote address by VICTO National Consultant, Mr. Edgar V. Comeros, recognition of Outstanding Members and Loyalty Awardees, the election of new Board of Directors and Committee Members, approval of strategic plans and programs for 2026, and the much-anticipated Grand Raffle Draw celebrating our lucky winners.
