NTECB Celebrates Its Silver Anniversary
«“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” — Psalm 126:3»
On June 2, 2026, the National Teachers and Employees Cooperative Bank (NTECB) joyfully celebrated its Silver Anniversary at the prestigious Casino Español de Cebu. More than marking twenty-five years of service, this milestone stands as a testament to God's faithfulness, the power of cooperative unity, and the trust of countless members whose lives have been enriched through NTECB's mission.
A JOURNEY GUIDED BY GOD'S FAITHFULNESS
Twenty-five years ago, NTECB was founded with a vision of empowering teachers, employees, and communities through responsible financial stewardship. Through every challenge and triumph, God's guiding hand has remained evident.
«“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” — Psalm 127:1»
Every achievement and milestone reflects not only sound governance and cooperation but also the enduring values of faith, integrity, and service.
A LEGACY OF PARTNERSHIP AND TRUST
The celebration gathered nearly one hundred distinguished guests and partners from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Department of Education (DepEd), Local Government Units, Schools Division Offices, business partners, and fellow cooperative leaders.
Among those present were BSP Region VII officials led by REAS Director Gregorio Baccay III and Bank Officer Conrado Cabandi Jr.; CDA Region VII headed by Regional Director Cristina H. Villamil and Assistant Regional Director Gloria V. Barrido; and DepEd Region VII Director Arturo B. Bayocot.
We likewise express our gratitude to local government officials and representatives, Schools Division Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents from Cebu Province, Cebu City, Mandaue, Naga, Danao, Talisay, and Toledo, as well as our valued partners from MB Philippines, Inc., TraXion Tech Inc., LAMAC MPC, and Fairchild Cebu Community MPC.
Their presence affirmed the strong partnerships that have enabled NTECB to advance financial inclusion, community development, and economic empowerment.
