Unfortunately, the client got stroke and was admitted last May 2024. So the wife notified me.

I immediately processed the claim. I collected all the requirements with the help of his wife from the hospital and submitted through online. So, we completed the requirements by end of June after he was discharged.

After a week we got a good news from FWD that the claim is approved worth 500,000 pesos.

Then FWD Transferred the amount to their Bank in 3 business working days.

The client will no longer pay for his succeeding premiums ( which are suppose to be paid for 10 years) and he is still covered until 75 years old for another unrelated critical illness claims.

Take note : the client only paid 54,024, however, FWD still paid him more than he contributed and will still cover him if he gets critically ill again.

See?

That's how insurance works!

Client is health conscious , active in sports, regular sa gym and only 44 years old. However, he was diagnosed with CANCER. Good thing he got a Set for health policy in FWD 9 months ago with 2 million coverage each claim & can claim up to 3x unrelated major Critical illness), 400K Minor Critical Illness, and 2 MILLION Death Benefit. Who would have thought this client will be diagnosed with Cancer at an early age? Maayo lang jud insured si client!

And there’s more client paid the policy for 2 years (he did an advance payment), and this plan has WAIVER OF PREMIUM (si FWD na ang mag continue ug bayad sa iyang plan). So, his advance payment was refunded to client’s bank account.

We never know when Critical Illness Strikes.
It’s better to have it when you don’t need it, than need it & not have it.
