Every November 2,
it has become a tradition for many Filipino families to visit the cemetery, light candles, offer prayers, and remember their loved ones who have passed away.🕯️🤍
It's a simple tradition, but one that reminds us of something we often forget, 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲.
And every time I think about it, I feel both grateful 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝.
Grateful for the gift of life and for the people I still get to share it with.
But scared, because I know that one day, our time here will come to an end.
And it makes me wonder…
Are we really living the life we want?
Are we making the most of our time with the people we love?
We all know life is temporary, pero most of the time, we live as if we have all the time in the world.
We delay things that matter.
We get caught up in things that don't.
We keep saying, “Next time na lang.”
Until one day, we realize that time is something we can never get back.
And this reminds me that preparing for the future isn't just about living longer or having more money.
It's about making the most of the time we have, creating meaningful memories, and making sure the people we love are taken care of, even when we're no longer around.

but don't forget to protect the life you're building. 💙
