It is a universal fact that time can only march forward. Every decision made, whether big or small, acts as fragments that will eventually shape your own future. The spontaneity of it is a gamble between good or bad, none of which is always guaranteed. Yet with knowledge and determination, ensuring a bountiful life won’t be too difficult.

As a mother of five children and a wife of an overly loving and supportive husband, the weight of the hereafter hangs constantly over my head. Time is precious, so why wait for something good to happen when you can forge your own path for yourself. Aside from taking great care of my kids, I work to build a safety net for myself and my family. Financial stability and security is one thing to look out for, especially at an age of a rapidly turbulent economy.

I know a lot of people say not to waste your time, but try not to be hasty. Let us learn to manage and utilize our time wisely and efficiently.

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝!

We know that building an emergency fund can seem daunting, especially when living paycheck to paycheck. I feel you, daddies and mommies!

Sino ba ang ngmamarathon dito?

Building the emergency fund is more like a marathon. We compare it to the enduring nature of a marathon. Like a marathon, it demands consistent effort and commitment over time.

𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀:

1. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 - Set aside a small amount of money each week and watch it grow exponentially monthly.

2. 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗺 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘀 - Decide what bills you need to get rid of for now, and negotiate with the remaining companies for a better rate.

3. 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 - Set up an automatic transfer after each paycheck to go into a separate account, where you will be less tempted to spend your savings.

4. 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 - Determine how much you would need to cover three months of living expenses if you lost your job, and make that your savings goal.

5. 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 - Defining what you need and what you want isn't fun, but it's important to help you see how much money you can put into savings.

To build a personal savings plan, the most important step is to make the first one 💸

Let's get started, Sunday!

On our way to Sunday service, this is always my favorite part of our Sundays, driving the kids to Sunday school.

As a mompreneur, my schedule can get incredibly hectic. But despite the busy days and countless tasks, I am always reminded that my most important job title will forever be that of a 𝑾𝒊𝒇𝒆 and 𝑴𝑶𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓.

Taking ownership and leadership of our businesses and all other aspects of our lives starts with how we lead our families. The values, discipline, and love we instill at home reflect our professional life. It all begins with the smallest unit of the community - the family.

Sending love vibes to all of the parents who continue to brave the tides in pushing their families in the right direction. It takes immense strength, dedication, and love.

🌟 Family Life & Financial Dreams: A Perfect Blend! 🌟

Two weeks ago, the girls and I embarked on a fun-filled adventure to Iloilo City, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable trip! 🌴✈️ We were in a group that included my parents, siblings, my niece, and my nephew. As this was Savannah and Summer's first plane ride, it was especially exciting!

Being my meticulous planner, I wanted to make sure everything was perfect for our little getaway. Here’s how we did it:

𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐥𝐲 💰

First things first, we set a budget for our trip. We made sure to account for everything - travel, accommodation, food, activities, and a little extra for souvenirs. I involved the girls in the process, turning it into a fun family activity. Savannah chipped in some of her savings from her selling her famous Mochi Bombs (Coming back in the market soon!)

𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐟𝐢𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 👗

Next up, outfits! With Iloilo’s tropical climate in mind, we packed light, breathable clothing. One thing we didn’t plan for was the unpredictable weather! We experienced some downpours and even a cloudburst while walking around the city. So, there was a lot of outfit changing that happened! Despite the rain, we made the most of it.

𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲📅

Creating our itinerary was a labor of love. I wanted to make sure we experienced the best of Iloilo without feeling rushed and, of course, without putting a big hole in our pockets. Special thanks to my BIL and his family for touring us around the place.

This trip was all about treating the girls and making memories. We bonded over new experiences, laughed endlessly, fought a little (hehe), but, came back with stories we’ll cherish forever. ❤️

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share a personal story that might resonate with many of you. As parents to our wonderful kids, my husband and I experienced the joy, chaos, and deep sense of responsibility that comes with raising a large family.
