Based on a true story:😢😢😢

Scenario: CAR ACCIDENT

Passengers of the said vehicle :
> Parents (Mother and Father)
>Children ( 5 year old son and 2 year old daugther)

Father died while mother survived but critical and stayed in the hospital for almost 2 months.

Children survived with minor injuries.

Father : No insurance (Bread Winner)
Mother: No insurance (Plain House Wife)
Children :No insurance/ No educational plan
CAR : INSURED (still under mortgage)

The questions are:

1. Who will shoulder for the funeral expenses of the father?

2. Who will shoulder for the hospital bills of the mother?

3. Who will give income to the family knowing the bread winner died?

4. Could kids still continue living the life they used to live ?

5. Could kids still continue go to school?

These are some of the things we do not realize first. Mas protected pa ang kotse kaysa sa pamilya or mga mahal sa buhay.

Will the car save the family’s future? Of course NO! Can the car pay for the hospital bills and education of the children? NO!

Learn to do the math and start having financial planning. Huwag ibuhos lahat sa material na bagay. Wala nang mas mahalaga pa sa mundo kaysa sa buhay at kinabukasan ng mga mahal mo sa buhay.

Protection should come first before investment. It’s sad knowing this family’s story. If only the parents were informed enough. 😢

Is it allowed to get Life Insurance Policies for OFW's outside the Philippines?? ⁉️
⚠️⚠️Beware Esp to OFW Clients!
This is under the PHIL laws!

1. If nag sign ka policy outside Philippines Soil 🇵🇭
Answer: may question sa validity ng contract na pinirmahan mo because Insurance license in ph is jurisdiction based. Meaning it is only valid in PH.

2. Pano malalaman ng Insurance Company na wala ka sa Pinas nung pumirma ka ng contrata?
Answer: Lahat po ng lumalabas ng bansa ay naka record sa Agency mo at sa POEA. Or thru investigation before giving claims.

3. Pano po kong kumuha ako at ito’y na aprubahan ng Insurance Company kahit nasa foreign soil ako?

Answer: Ipagdidiwang mo ba na approved ka?

Pagdating sa claims doon baka dun ka mahirapan, dahil mag-iinvestigate ang Insurance Company bago nila ibibigay ang claims mo at kapag nalaman na may mali sa attestations mo. Ex. place of signing, maaring ma consider na Null and Void na ang Contract of insurance mo.

Client: I am covered for P5M right?

Me: Yes, Ma’am

Client: So when will I receive the P5M? If I finish paying after 10 years, will I receive the P5M?

Me: No Ma’am, The fund value and health protection is yours. However, you will never ever receive the face amount in your entire lifetime.

Client: Ay, so panget pala. I will pay for something that other people will enjoy. Di ko din naman pla magagamit.

Me: Ma’am do you send your kids to school?

Client: Yes of course. My youngest is still in High school

Me: You should stop sending them to school.

Client: Why?

Me: Because you are paying for something you will never use. Anak nyo lang po tatalino dahil sa pagpasok nya sa school. You are paying for something that other people will enjoy.

That is actually how insurance works. That "Other People" you are saying are THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE, your FAMILY. Would you not want to give something that would benefit them?

Ano game plan mo next year after ng nakakapressure na mga gastusin ngayon Christmas?

6am na.
Ganito kami specially sya kapag peak season.
Yes malaki ang kinikita, pero hindi yan basehan na gagastos din kami ng malaki ngayon season.

At dahil seasonal lang talaga yung trabaho, yung kita namin ngayon nakalaan na para sa expenses (foods, bills and insurance and ibang investment) buong taon. Kung may sobra para sa wants din namin sa buong taon, sa mga other season nalang din kami bumabawi, importante secured na buong taon namin.

Ang swerte ko kase parehas kami ng mindset, lagi kami nagkakasundo sa financial planning/goals namin.
