Why is this a bad financial decision?

Well, houses require you to pay the mortgage, utilities, repairs, etc.

They grow in value but that’s not enough to balance out all the money spend on them.

Still, we all need to live somewhere and I think buying a home with this approach is the best.

Once my Airbnb business started taking off, I set up one Airbnb that covers the house payments.

I would need to sell it for more than 10 years which is not going to be easy…

But I worked and got into a position where buying a liability like this wouldn’t harm our progress.

We should normalize making assets pay for liabilities instead of our active incomes.
