Amira started as a vehicle - not just for work, but for growth, experience, and meaningful contribution.

I have always considered myself a jack of all trades, and for a long time, I felt bad about it. I believed that being versatile meant being a master of none. That perspective shifted when I became a Virtual Assistant in 2022. I realized that versatility was not a weakness, but a strength - especially in moments where what was needed was a lean, agile team that could adapt, learn, and move fast.

As I entered the world of virtual assistance more deeply, I also became aware of what was missing. The culture I grew up in was rooted in coaching, guidance, and development, and I did not see that reflected enough in the space. That became the reason Amira was built. A company that allows people to maximize their versatility. A company that pushes people forward not because of fear, doubt, or worry, but because of limitless possibilities. From the early days of late nights, a small team, and figuring things out as we went, we chose culture over speed, said no to the wrong clients, and prioritized relationships - even knowing not everyone would stay, as long as we left an impact.

As we closed the year together, hearing our Virtual Assistants say that their biggest win is the culture itself affirmed everything we set out to build. What sets Amira apart is our commitment to a win-win-win relationship - a win for the company, a win for our clients, and a win for our VAs. To make that real, we embed ownership into how our team works, encouraging them to think and act as if they are building their own business. We move forward with gratitude and pride, grounded in who we are, quietly confident in where we are going.

This is only the beginning.

Most founders don’t have a time problem.

They have a bottleneck problem.

You’re doing too much, deciding too much, and holding the business together with your own energy.

I made a 2-minute Founder Bottleneck Diagnostic to help you see where your time is actually leaking.

No fluff. No motivation. Just clarity.

Ang dami mong ginagawa, di ka ba napapagod?

Honestly? No.

'Cause in the first place, I don't have any commitment na ayokong ginagawa. I no longer chase after opportunities because of the money, I want to work on things I love doing or things that challenge me.

Kaya lang naman mapapagod ang isang tao if they treat work like it's the sh*ttiest thing that's happening in their life, I'm just grateful that's not happening to me.

With all the engagement I have right now, sure there might be things I regret doing in the long run...

but I'd rather regret trying things and failing than not exploring myself

𝑰𝒇 𝒀𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝑼𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒕𝑮𝑷𝑻, 𝒀𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝑨𝒍𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑭𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒆𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒅

I have a new best friend - ChatGPT.

I’ve been using ChatGPT since 2023. At first I was skeptical to use it and during its start, it wasn’t even that good. Mainly, I just used ChatGPT to rephrase and improve my ideas for essays.

but it’s come a long way since then.

ChatGPT is a freakin’ goldmine and anyone that doesn’t use ChatGPT will have a hard time in life.

I’ve used ChatGPT for school, for my insurance business, as a virtual assistant, and even now as I build my VA Agency.

What took weeks or even months to create now only takes a few minutes - but make no mistake, this post is 100% Adrian Kyle Ramos.

Speaking of VA Agency, what if VAs have their own VAs

Before starting my agency, as a VA, I’ve been using ChatGPT in ways that even feels illegal.

I don’t need to be a master of anything to be good at it because of ChatGPT.

I’m just sad because people aren’t using it to its maximum potential - including my own Virtual Assistants.

So, instead of worrying and being sad about it, I allowed my VAs to maximize AI by creating our own Amira GPT.

I know nothing about coding, I’m not an expert of AI.

I just love using ChatGPT and now understand how to maximize using ChatGPT.

One feedback we got was that it’s like talking to an Account Manager because it’s able to talk to the VA the way we actually to talk to them.

Use AI or it will replace you.

𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝑰𝒔𝒔𝒖𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝑩𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒍

I have a hard time trusting people.

No, I don’t mean I don’t trust people as friends.

I have a hard time trusting people to do their jobs - especially in my own organization and company.

Maybe it’s because of past experience that made me create a limiting belief around trusting and surrendering that my people can handle it.

Maybe it’s because I have this ego need to control and not to disappoint the people that trust my business as clients.

I carry a lot, I choose to do so - and I consciously do this.

But as a business owner, I thought to myself, “If I still do this, why do I hire people? Won’t my business suffer because of this?”

So, instead of having this ego need to control, I choose to let go - step by step.

Making sure that I inspect what I expect but also allow my people to think around how they approach a certain task and problem that arises.

I still have a long way to be a great leader, but I’m excited to see myself in my next level.

𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑰 𝑶𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑾𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒅 𝑭𝒐𝒓

There was a time we wished to be where we are now, but why is it that we complain about the challenges that comes with our dreams?

I saw once that appreciating the challenges we face shifts our focus from fear to gratitude.

Grateful for having no extra time.

Grateful for thinking not only for myself but for my employees as well.

Grateful for traveling 6 hours to another city to spend time with family.

Grateful for having the capacity to take on multiple roles at once.

If we cannot bear it in the first place, it would never have been given to us.

We take on what is appropriate to our capacity.

The first one to meet us.

The first one to comfort us.

The first one to cheer for us.

The first one to hear us out.

The first one to fight for us.

The first one to love us unconditionally.

I wouldn’t be who I am today if not for my mother.

I would say I won the lottery because she’s the mother I want and need.

Ma, lahat ng panalo ko, panalo mo.

Maraming salamat sa suporta, sa pag-aalala, at sa pagmamahal.

Happy mother’s day.

I love you ❤️

𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑺𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝑩𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒂 𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝑨𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆

It’s really easy to start a business these days - almost anyone can do it. All it takes is an idea and motivation to start.

It’s so easy to start a business that I’m sure that whoever is reading this, you know someone in your circle that has a business or had a business.

Then we hear the usual saying of a friend that has a business, “Pasupport naman” or “Support my Business!”

At first glance, it looks simple - minsan hindi pa rin natin pinapansin.

However, I don’t think we understand how important even just one person supporting the business is.

If your friend owns a cafe, why not buy coffee there instead of Starbucks?

If your friend cleans shoes, why not have your shoes cleaned there instead of Suellas?

If your friend is a barber, why not get your haircut there instead of GQ?

If your friend sells clothes, why not buy from them instead of H&M?

For big companies, have another customer for you is of course beneficial. However you’re just another customer for them.

For your friend, having you as a customer not only benefits their business in financial value but also in keeping them going.

“May naniniwala sa ginagawa ko.”

This feeling is the fuel for ambitious business owners.

“Eh kaso hindi naman quality ‘yung ginagawa niya. Okaya quality naman pero mahal.”

Then let them know. Support doesn’t mean blindly supporting your friend’s business. If you don’t like the quality, tell them. They will not only improve their products or service for you, but for other people too.

Now, let me talk to business owners.

Don’t say that. Instead, thank them for the feedback and make sure to improve and develop.

Nobody’s Perfect - and We Need to Stop Expecting Them to Be

I’ve been hearing a lot of people say “nobody’s perfect” - but only when they’re trying to excuse a mistake.

And I get it. We’ve all said things, done things, or held on to mindsets that, if caught in the wrong moment, might make us look bad and even get "cancelled".

But the truth is, we all have a version of ourselves that isn’t exactly… "postable".

But here’s what bothers me: we’ve created a world, especially online, where making a mistake means you're automatically unforgivable.

We cancel.

We condemn.

We crucify...
.. without giving people the space to grow.

Not everyone who makes a social, political, or even cultural mistake is doing it with malice. Sometimes it’s ignorance. Sometimes it’s timing. Sometimes it’s a version of themselves they haven’t fully healed from.

Yes, people should be held accountable. Especially those with influence.

But accountability and eternal punishment are two very different things.

We say “don’t compare yourself to perfect people on social media,”
but the moment someone slips, we act like we’ve never made a mistake.

Let people learn. Let them live.

Because nobody’s asking you to be perfect, so stop expecting it from everyone else.

𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒔 𝑨𝒓𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑫𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑭𝒐𝒓

Last night I watched the MMK Episode of BINI's Sheena Catacutan.

I'm a casual listener of BINI but what I love about them was how they turned their hardships to victories.

Just basing off of what I watched in the MMK Episode..

They almost lost a member, the pandemic hit them, ABS-CBN lost its franchise, people weren’t paying attention to them.

Despite all of those, they didn’t give up. They persevered.

All it took was one moment.

One single moment to change everything

and that was when Pantropiko went viral.

That’s also the first I’ve heard of them, I even thought they recently debuted.

That’s the untold truth about success. It’s never overnight.

You can’t say Pantropiko going viral was an overnight success because they’ve released songs before that day.

I love how Sheena was reminded by her brother just before she went back to Manila.

“Oo, pangarap ‘yun ni mama para sayo - pero diba pangarap mo rin ‘yun?”

Never give on your dreams. No matter how hard it is.

You choose what to do with every failure or tragedy that comes your way. You can either take it as a sign to step back or use it as a stepping stone forward.

I call those “success stories”
