Amira started as a vehicle - not just for work, but for growth, experience, and meaningful contribution.
I have always considered myself a jack of all trades, and for a long time, I felt bad about it. I believed that being versatile meant being a master of none. That perspective shifted when I became a Virtual Assistant in 2022. I realized that versatility was not a weakness, but a strength - especially in moments where what was needed was a lean, agile team that could adapt, learn, and move fast.
As I entered the world of virtual assistance more deeply, I also became aware of what was missing. The culture I grew up in was rooted in coaching, guidance, and development, and I did not see that reflected enough in the space. That became the reason Amira was built. A company that allows people to maximize their versatility. A company that pushes people forward not because of fear, doubt, or worry, but because of limitless possibilities. From the early days of late nights, a small team, and figuring things out as we went, we chose culture over speed, said no to the wrong clients, and prioritized relationships - even knowing not everyone would stay, as long as we left an impact.
As we closed the year together, hearing our Virtual Assistants say that their biggest win is the culture itself affirmed everything we set out to build. What sets Amira apart is our commitment to a win-win-win relationship - a win for the company, a win for our clients, and a win for our VAs. To make that real, we embed ownership into how our team works, encouraging them to think and act as if they are building their own business. We move forward with gratitude and pride, grounded in who we are, quietly confident in where we are going.
This is only the beginning.
