The main reason why most plans fail is because one doesn't know how the plan should work, and how one can maximize it.

Insurance have been a mainstay of financial security in millions of families since it was invented.

Just because it didn't work for you, means it is a failure.

It's just like treating patients, it means that if the treatment failed in one patient, the success of the previous treatments is disregarded.

Maybe, one just needs a different solution to the problem.

Your Insurance coverage should be like your favorite fastfood fried chicken meal.

I'm pretty sure than many of us consume our favorite fried chicken meal set from our favorite fast-food restaurant.

But do we all order it as it is or do always requests a little bit to our server: breast part please? Pwedeng spicy? Or only leg or thigh? How about extra rice? Larger drink? A diet coke? Or extra gravy?

Though the main plan is given, it is very likely that many of us will change it according to their preference.

Now in relation to insurance:

Many companies offer these adult pre-packaged/starter savings packs. Or the 2 year, 5, or even 20 year plans. These start with: life insurance for only this amount.

Though a good product presentation, when choosing to get insurance, it has to be customized to every single client's needs and wants. A 32yo breadwinner for a family of 5 needs a different plan versus an 18yo single female. A 56 year old businessman might have special needs versus a 24 year old sports athlete.

The key to loving your insurance, and thus maximizing it's benefit to your lifestyle is customization.

Just sharing some information regarding the History of the Different Life Insurance Companies in the Philippines and their country of Origin.

Amazingly, two of the biggest companies are Philippine born (Insular and AIA), and of the oldest serving companies (Sun Life and Manulife) are from Canada.

Yet despite being less than 30 years in service here in the Philippines (PruLife UK and AXA), they are among the longest tenured companies in the world, far longer than Sun Life and Manulife.

What amazes me though is Hong Kong born FWD whis is barely a decade old is already a strong brand here in the Philippines.

Yes, history, longevity and the stability of a company are key factors in choosing the company we want, but at the end of the day, it is the service and products that we acquire that we believe would greatly improve our lives is the moving factor in the decision on where we invest our money.

And also, the servicing agent that promises us the lifetime promise that they give to us.
