Final harvest is in. Total harvest is 8.5 Metric Tonnes Kernel harvest per hectare. Not bad for just 40 bags of chicken dung with 20 kilos of commercial fertilizer and 70% fertilization savings.

Demo Farm harvest @ san jose libona bukidnon. So far 1/4 hectare yielded 209 sacks corn with cob per sack. We are expecting above-average harvest.

Only 100 bags chicken dung and 50 kilos assorted fertilizer was applied. Total savings on fertilizer cost is as high as 70% vs traditional practice on this farm.

An estimated 2-weeks more to go before harvest at the University of Southern Mindanao Kabacan RSPP Kabacan Campus-PhilRice Station.

Our AGRIX Fertilization System (60 kg per hectare per cropping for rice) has so-far performed at par with the USM system using 10sacks of fertilizer per cropping. This means big savings for farmers using this system.

This is a controlled research project between AGRIX and USM-Philrice.
