1. SSS is NOT enough
- it will not sustain your medical bills and you will need to downgrade your lifestyle if you will depend on SSS alone.

2. INFLATION
- your 1 peso right now will have lesser value in the future.

3. KIDS are NOT our retirement fund
- they will build and take care of their own family.
- if they do give us, it is because they want to and not because we require it of them.

4. WE LIVE LONGER

Insurance is paid for - whether it is bought or not. Only difference is, if it is you paying for your own life, the cost to you is just 1 peso for every 100 pesos of benefits for your loved ones. If you refuse and your family winds up paying, it will cost them 100 pesos for the same benefits. They will pay 100x more for what you refuse to pay for them.
