๐ก Can You Withdraw From Your VUL Fund Value?
A friend recently asked me:
"Pwede ba akong mag-withdraw sa VUL ko? At maaapektuhan ba ang investment ko?"
The answer is YES. For VUL policyholders, you may generally withdraw up to 80% of your available fund value, provided enough yung remaining funds to cover your policy charges.
โ ๏ธ But here's the important part: Any withdrawal will affect your investment.
Why? Because the projections shown in your proposal assume that *walang withdrawal*. Kapag nag-withdraw ka, mababawasan ang perang pwedeng mag-grow at mag-compound over time.
โ
If you don't need the money right now, consider leaving it invested and review if your current fund allocation still matches your goals. You can also switch to global funds to better maximize returns.
โ
If you need the money, that's okay. Your VUL can provide financial flexibility when needed. Just remember that it may impact your future fund value. Once your cash flow improves, you can continue paying or add funds to help rebuild your investment.
๐ Before making a withdrawal, make sure you understand not just the immediate benefit, but also the long-term impact on your policy.
Message me if you have questions about your VUL. I'd be happy to help.
