Story time: The Result of Showing Up ✨

Yesterday, I posted something very casual about my work as a Financial Advisor under Pru Life UK. Honestly, it wasn’t even a salesy post—just a quick reminder to my FB friends that “Hey, I’m here if ever you need help with insurance or financial planning.”

And guess what? Just by showing up and putting it out there, two friends reached out to me! 🙌

The best part? One of them—pagkagising ko—was already at our house, casually chatting with my wife. 😄 She wanted to know what plan fits her, and we ended up talking right then and there. No pressure, just real conversations.

Sometimes, that’s all it takes. You don’t always have to shout. You just have to show up, be consistent, and stay available. You never know who’s watching—and who you might be able to help.

Story time! ✨

Four years ago, I made the bold decision to resign from my full-time corporate job. Since then, my wife and I juggled multiple jobs and ran small side businesses—just to make sure we wouldn’t regret walking away from the 9-to-5 grind.

It wasn’t easy at first. We had to hustle hard. But over time, we slowly built a life that gave us both time freedom and the chance to earn on our own terms.

I remember telling myself back then: “I never want to work on Mondays again.” Mondays used to be the most dreaded day of the week—back when I was still studying and working corporate. Fast forward to now... and I’m back to working Mondays!

But this time, it’s different.

I now work as a Financial Advisor—and it’s one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done. I get to help others protect their future, build wealth, and make smarter money decisions. The work is meaningful, flexible, and purpose-driven. It’s not just a job; it’s a mission.

And even though I'm back to the grind, it’s a grind I choose. I get to work, enjoy life, sleep well, and live without the rush. Every day is a chance to grow, serve, and move one step closer to our bigger goals. 🙏

If you’re in a season where you’re doubting your next step, know that it’s okay to take the leap. You might be surprised by what’s waiting on the other side.
