The Burgos La Union Employees Credit Cooperative (BLUECC) successfully held its Year-End Special Assembly and Cooperative Celebration on December 4, 2025 at the Municipal Auditorium, Burgos, La Union. The event gathered 47 active members, marking a strong and engaged turnout.
The program commenced with the Preliminaries, beginning with the singing of the national anthem followed by a solemn prayer led by Ms. Florina P. Delos Reyes. This was immediately followed by the heartfelt recital of the “Sapata Ti Kooperatiba”, led by Ms. Beverlyn C. Lubid, reaffirming the members’ commitment to the cooperative’s values and principles.
To formally open the assembly, Mr. Rico P. Panta, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, delivered his welcome and opening remarks. In his message, he expressed appreciation for the continued support and participation of the members and highlighted the cooperative’s achievements, challenges, and direction moving forward.
A key part of the assembly was the presentation and reading of the proposed amendments to the BLUECC articles of cooperation and bylaws. Members were given the opportunity to be heard, review, and discuss the said proposal geared towards strengthening the cooperative’s operations and governance.
Following the formal proceedings, the celebration continued with an engaging and enjoyable program. Members actively participated in various raffle draws, interactive games, and fellowship activities, fostering camaraderie and reinforcing the spirit of cooperation within the organization.
The event concluded on a positive note, reflecting the cooperative’s commitment to transparency, member empowerment, and a unified vision for the coming year.
