History and Profile of CEmBa MPC

Inadequate income, mounting debts, plunging way of life and daily facing the challenges of crippling poverty - this is a real life snapshots of most government employees today. While the situation becomes distressing to most, The Bataan Provincial Capitol Employees collectively stood – up believing in the strength of cooperativism. A power now translated by CEmBa

After a short organizing phase facilitated by the Provincial Cooperative Development Office in March 2006, CEmBa was registered with the No. PGA 5587 on May 19, 2006 under the CDA with an initial 53 cooperators and a humble revolving capital of Php 262,000- from the members’ Paid up Capital. From an initial Lobby Snack Bar, a Bottled – water business in Bataan Transport Mall, Medical Supplies to PHO Store all were put – up one after the other few months after its birth. CEmBa undertaken Canteen Operation, Photo copying and E-load business and Various Credit service to serve its members slowly detaching them from usurious loan sharks. As of December 31, 2012 CEmBa boasts of 445 quality members and an increased in Capital of Php 6,280,847.84 with a net income of Php 1.6M and has accumulated a Total Assets amounting to Php 15,684,847.84. With the stability of its operation and sound Management, CEmBa is gaining growth not only on financial aspect but greatly on trust and dependability reflected by the continuous growth on membership. More development and projects will be soon be realized by CEmBa. A cooperative that started as a simple dream now writing history in cooperative landscape of Bataan and continuously improving the lives of its members. To God be the Glory!
