"From 194k down to 8k Pesos Hospital Bill"

-Sinugod sa Ospital sa Marikina Valley ang sister ko na si Arlene last November 14, Ang diagnosis sa kanya ay Chronic Calculous Cholecystitis and need na Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy or in short "Gallbladder Removal".
Meron naman HMO ang kapatid ko since nag work siya sa isang BPO Company, so kapag nagkakasakit alam mo na meron kang maasahan. Pero ito ang sad part kung mag exceed ang Bill mo sa limit ng Short Term healthcare mo.
-OO, meron naman Philhealth at naka discount na din covered na nila ang 31k pero meron pa din babayaran na 58k plus. At dhil emergency ito hindi ka naman basta basta makaka withdraw na ng investments mo mahirap din mangutang!
-Kaya ang last resort namin ay ang gamitin ang kanyan KAISER Long Term Healthcare plan nya. Dito ko napatunanyan na napaka compasionate ng Company na ito dahil when I called the Kaiser Call Center at i explain ang condition ng kapatid ko at need gamitin ang plan nya for her Hospital Bills, Going 6 years na din ang Kaiser LTC ni sister, walang 5 minuto tinawagan ako ni Sir Boggs ( liason officer) from kaiser at sabihin na approved ang request namin at pwedeng magamit ang 50k ABL nya. Sya na rin ang tumawag sa Ospital para ma process ito. Kaya yung dapat na 58k plus pa na sana na babayaran ng kapatid ko ay naging 8k nalang.

Chris: Friend, gusto mo bang matutong mag ipon?

Friend: oo naman! ang tagal ko na ring nagtatrabaho pero di pa rin ako nakakaipon, dami kasing gastusin.

Chris: Willing ka bang maglaan ng time para pag aralan to?

Friend: ay, busy ako. Monday to Sat pasok ko.

Chris: sa gabi after ng work mo? wala pang 1 hr yung webinar about Financial Education.

Friend: Naku, pagdating ko. pagod na, aasikasuhin ko pa mga anak ko.

Chris: Sa Sunday, off mo. maglaan ka lang ng 1hr para matutunan mo paano makapag ipon.

Friend: Pag day off ko, naglalaba, nagluluto, bonding ng family at pahinga ko na lang yun. Saka na lang siguro.

Chris: Akala ko ba gusto mong matutunan kung paano makaipon, kasi matagal ka ng nagtatrabaho, wala pa ring ipon.

Friend: Saka na lang siguro pag di na ako busy.

Nakailang kulit din para maturuan ko syang mag ipon, pero busy p rin. 10 yrs na ang lumipas, ganun pa rin.

Bakit ang daming tao ang ganito? Nag uusap-usap ba sila?
Gustong makaipon, pero walang time.
Hmmmm..., Sayang ang time, pare pareho naman tayong may 24 hours.

Sabi nga kapag gusto maraming paraan, kapag ayaw maraming dahilan, malamang hindi pa kasi sila nakakaranas ng major financial lost sa family kaya very relax at complacent dahil kahit walang ipon me dumadating na pera. Pero sabi nga one major illness pwde mawala lahat ng pinaghirapan mo, wag na sana natin antayin mangyari ito sa atin, bigyan ng chance ang sarili alamin pano makapag save the right way... There will always be people who do not care about your Costs, Time, Effort, they rather let other people cheat them, allowing others to earn, then supporting someone they know. Cause in their heart, they will always be thinking, 'How much did he earn from me?' instead of "How much did he SAVE/MAKE for me?"
This is a classic example of a poor person's mentality!

Likas sa mga Pilipino ang masipag magtrabaho at matulungin sa Pamilya, ginagawa lahat pra sa Pamilya pero Naka kalimutan ang Sarili at di nakakapag ipon..

Kapag dumating ang time na ikaw ay nawalan at nagkasakit Wala ka ng maaasahan. Kaya Mag Ipon ka para sa pagtanda mo para dika kawawa. Alam mo bang mahirap mgtrabaho kpag matanda kna lalo na kapag may dinaramdam na..

Kaya huwag ka manghihinayang pag ipunan ang HealthCare at Investment for retirement fund mo dahil yan Lang Kakampi mo kapag matanda at retiro kana, Huwag umasa sa Anak dahil dimu pa alam kong nasa maayos din ba sila at May Pamilya narin sila .
