Coro Callé Celebrates First Anniversary with
“Quotidi Annum: Every Day of the Year”
A Concert in Support of HIEC Youth Assembly

Coro Callé will mark its first anniversary with a special concert entitled "Quotidi Annum: Every Day of the Year, on December 21, 2024, at 5:30 PM, at the Holy Innocents Episcopal Church. This event will feature a thoughtfully curated program of seasonal songs and pieces from Coro Callé’s growing repertoire.

This concert also serves as a collaboration with the Holy Innocents Episcopal Church (HIEC) Youth Assembly. The event will support the HIEC Youth Assembly in its mission to nurture young leaders and foster community engagement.

Attendees can expect an immersive experience celebrating the spirit of each season through music. From festive melodies to well-loved choral pieces, "Quotidi Annum" promises to showcase the dedication and artistry that have defined Coro Callé’s first year.

Tickets are now available at 200 Php, and donations are welcomed in support of the HIEC Youth Assembly’s valuable work. We invite the community to join us in celebrating this milestone and supporting the next generation of leaders.

Happy 114th charter anniversary, Baguio City! 🌲🌲

Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines, is celebrating its 114th charter anniversary on September 1, 2023. The city was chartered in 1909, four years after the Americans finished the construction of Kennon Road, also called “Zigzag Road”, which was carved on mountainsides.

The theme for this year's celebration is “Reflections of the Past, Visions for a Resilient Future”

Did you know that on June 12th, 1898, the Philippines declared its independence from Spanish colonial rule? This marked the end of more than 300 years of colonial rule. Throughout history, this day has been celebrated with parades, cultural performances, and flag-raising ceremonies. Today, we honor and remember the sacrifices of our forefathers who fought for our freedom. Let's continue to work towards a better future for our beloved country.
