The EBSI Cashflow Quadrant is coined by Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

Employment - You exchange your time for an income. If you don't work, then you don't get paid.

Business Owner - These people have other people working for them to help them generate income.

Self Employed - You can decide the value that you give and how much income you can get. But if you don't work for a long period of time, then there's no income.

Investors - They are the people that have money working for them. They can take long vacations and still earn money in the process.
