I am in awe. Such beautiful interiors. Santuario de San Jose inside Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is a Spanish colonial era designed church. As if I relived the 1800s Philippines.

I told myself many years ago, I will write a book about my father. I will write about how he is a hero in my eyes when I was growing up. Too bad I got so tied up with a lot of things that I was not able to realize that dream.

My father is on his last stretch surviving the pains of Parkinson’s disease. He is strong enough to bear what this cruel disease brings. I know God gave it to him because He knows Tatay can withstand the battle. And we have our Tatay’s back. Back to back we continue to fight with him.

He used to take care of all of us. He tirelessly provided for us. Now when Parkinson’s steals his strength, his sharpness, his balance, we will be there to be his strength, his once sharp mind and his stable guide.

Happy Father’s Day, my father the hero❤️
