***LCCFCMPC @ 63: A Celebration of Solidarity, Hope and Legacy***
The 63rd Founding Anniversary of La Consolacion College Faculty Community MPC on September 20, 2025 was a simple yet deeply meaningful celebration of unity, gratitude, and renewed commitment. The day began with a Thanksgiving Mass held at the San Sebastian Cathedral, followed by the blessing of the Coop’s Cash Teller Machine booth, officiated by Rev. Fr. Danilo Cenal.
The program commenced with a heartfelt Welcome Message from the BOD Chairperson, Mr. Joselito M. Diaz. His message reflected his deep passion, inspiring aspirations, and sincere gratitude, as he warmly welcomed all guests, members, and participants to the 63rd Founding Anniversary celebration.
The event was honored by the presence of the following esteemed guests:
• Sr. Flolyn Catungal, President of LCC Bacolod
• Mr. Antonio C. Escobar, CDA Region VI Regional Director
• Mr. Edmund Chris Acosido, CDA NIR Assistant Regional Director
• Mr. Nice Geraldez, Representative from DigiCoop
Their inspiring messages energized the gathering and underscored the importance of cooperative spirit and innovation in today’s times. Highlights included the exciting announcement from LCC Bacolod leadership about the establishment of a Laboratory Cooperative for students. This marks a historic revival of cooperative as part of education for LCC students—a fulfillment of Sr. Leontina Del Castillo’s legacy in Philippine cooperative development.
The venue was filled with joy and camaraderie, thanks to the presence of our Board of Directors, Officers, Staff, the Coop Youth President, the Bowlers who became Champion in the 2025 Bowling Tournament, CLIMBS representative, and Members-Awardees from various chapters of the four LCCFCMPC branches.
After the recognition of this year’s Outstanding Member Awardees, the celebration concluded with a heartfelt fellowship meal shared by all.
We are honored and proud to mark this 63rd year—a celebration not just of longevity, but of purpose, faith, and collective progress.
