Habang naghihintay ako sa paglabas ng anak ko sa school kanina, napag-isipan ko ang mga kaibigan nating nasa banking industry.

​Kung ikaw ay isang Branch Manager o Bancassurance Officer, araw-araw kang nag-o-optimize ng pera ng ibang tao. Araw-araw kang nag-pe-present at nagko-close ng deals. You already have the exact skills needed to succeed in business.

​Ang kaibahan lang? Sa bangko, kahit ma-hit mo ng 200% ang quota mo, fixed pa rin ang income mo at nakatali ka sa 8-to-5 na schedule ng branch.

Lagi kong naririnig ito: "Mon, hindi ako magaling magsalita. Hindi ako pang-sales."

​Let me tell you a secret: I wasn't either.

​Hi, I am Mon. A full-time financial advisor, full-time dad, and full-time sa fitness. Pero alam niyo ba, noong nag-start ako as a part-timer in 2017, wala rin akong sales background. Galing ako sa corporate automotive setup, mas sanay sa likod ng desk kaysa kumausap ng tao.

​Noong umpisa, zero sales ako. Wala akong sistema noon. I stayed because I found a community that valued continuous learning over superficial success.

​Madalas kasi nating nakikita sa social media na ang pagiging financial advisor ay tungkol sa magagarang kotse, luxury items, at material success. Pero ang totoo? Ang pinakamalaking kikitain mo rito ay yung personal growth mo. It is about becoming a better version of yourself so you can build genuine relationships and protect families.

​Hindi mo kailangang maging magaling agad para magsimula. Kailangan mo lang magsimula para maging magaling. Dito sa team namin, we don't expect perfection on Day 1. Sa halip na mag-focus sa mga kulang sa'yo, we focus on what is right with you and build your natural strengths. May malinaw na workflow at disiplina na susundin.

​At ang pinakamaganda? Walang pressure. You can grow at your own pace without quitting your current job.
