Life is like a blank canvas, and we are the painters who decide what type of art to create with our experiences reflected on our own canvases. During the life pre-pandemic, we savored freedom, the life outdoors, consistently seeing our loved ones, endless travels with no restrictions and no requirement of having to wear suffocating face masks and face shields which can be equivalent to colors in our own paintings while the same cannot be said during the pandemic that happened – abrupt changes occurred and difficulties in life were encountered including sickness, lockdowns, closed businesses, financial issues which greatly affected the whole world – a life full of blacks and whites, but at the end of the day, the incorporation of all these colors and these ideas, no matter how colorful, no matter how black or white, make our own canvases unique and beautiful. When life returns to normal and we look back on the arts on canvases that we made, we’ll have no regrets knowing that we put forth our best every single day to survive, that we tried our best to fill the spaces on our own canvases so if you’re reading this, I want to congratulate you for hanging in there, and I am proud of the art that you made.
