April 11, 2026 (Saturday) – Alamada Multi-Purpose Cooperative (AMPC) was honored to have attended the 52nd General Assembly of the One Cooperative Insurance System of the Philippines (1CISP), held at the Limketkai Mall Atrium, Cagayan de Oro City. The event carried the theme: “Vision 2030: Building a Cooperative Economy for Shared Prosperity.”

On behalf of AMPC, the Cooperative was represented by Jennifer S. Canja - Loans Division Head, and Janice C. Cagampang - Loan Processor. As one of the stakeholders of this esteemed organization, AMPC remains committed to serving its members in line with insurance requirements, ensuring that benefits are delivered fairly and equitably.

The Assembly reflects and envisions a future where cooperatives are not only financial partners but also catalysts for uplifting communities, empowering individuals, and ensuring that growth is shared by all.

𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐒-𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐂 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰

April 10 & 22, 2026 – A two-day Sectoral Survey Interview was conducted by the Mindanao Alliance of Self-Help Societies Southern Philippines Educational Cooperative Center (MASS-SPECC) for Alamada Multi-Purpose Cooperative (AMPC). The activity focused on assessing general welfare and key socio-economic indicators among its management, staff, officers, and general membership across various sectors, including farmers, business owners, youth, senior citizens, and employed members.

The interviews were conducted in two phases: the first session was held face-to-face, while the second session was carried out online. The activity was primarily facilitated by Roberto Palo and his team.

All information gathered from these sessions will be consolidated by MASS-SPECC and used as a basis for enhancing cooperative programs, strengthening sectoral initiatives, and developing strategies that will benefit members.

AMPC, having been selected as one of the cooperatives for this initiative, was honored to contribute valuable insights toward the advancement of the cooperative sector. This participation reaffirms its commitment to the cooperative principle of “Cooperation among Cooperatives.”

𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

April 8, 2026 (Wednesday) - The Alamada Multi-Purpose Cooperative (AMPC) actively participated in the Orientation on the Safe Spaces Act and Gender-Based Violence held at Settler's Hall, Municipality of Alamada. The event was facilitated by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Alamada through the Municipal Social Welfare & Development Office (MSWDO).

Representing the Cooperative were Frely John A. Ochia (MRDM) and Kimberly F. Apalla (AGS Supervisor), demonstrating AMPC’s strong commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all its members and the community.

The orientation aimed to deepen awareness and understanding of the Safe Spaces Act, strengthen gender sensitivity, and promote proactive measures in preventing and addressing gender-based violence. It also emphasized the shared responsibility of organizations and individuals in upholding dignity, respect, and equality in all spaces whether in the workplace or the community.

Through participation in initiatives like this, AMPC continues to empower its people with knowledge and awareness, ensuring that its services and operations reflect not only productivity but also social responsibility and care for human rights.

April 22, 2026 (Wednesday) - Another thrilling and fun-filled week for AMPC staff as we held our third scheduled Sports Day session for 2026!

‎The highlight of the event was the game “𝑰𝒌𝒊𝒚𝒐𝒅 𝑴𝒐”, which brought so much laughter and excitement to all teams! The challenge required members to cross to the opposite side, pushing the ball along the floor using an eggplant hung from their body, a fun test of balance, coordination and teamwork.

‎All teams gave consistent, steady effort and displayed great energy throughout the activities. But standing out above the rest was "𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗚-𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗚", who claimed the championship title for this session! They made history as the first team ever to earn a perfect score in Round 3, the Q&A segment – which boosted their total points and secured their well-deserved win.

‎We are already almost halfway through 2026, but there are still plenty of opportunities for other teams to take home the championship title in the coming sessions. To all teams, keep enjoying the games, and may the spirit of sportsmanship always prevail.
