In light of the recent announcement by Grand Chief Sir Bob Dadae, Kina Bank will be recognising tomorrow the 18th April 2023 as a public holiday in honour of the late former Prime Minister, Sir Rabbie Namaliu. All Kina Bank branches will be closed, with our Vision City branch opening on reduced hours from 10.00AM-2.00PM.

Our digital banking services will continue to be available online, through WhatsApp banking, Kina Konnect and on the Mobile App.

It has come to our attention that a fake Instagram page called ‘Kinabank1’ is promoting itself as a Kina Bank sponsored organisation in order to scam our customers into providing their personal details. This is NOT a Kina Bank endorsed account, nor is it associated with our services in any way.

With this in mind, we wanted to take the opportunity to make sure our customers are cyber fraud aware.

Common strategies of fraudulent Instagram accounts include:
- using recognisable logos and names (like Kina Bank) to gain your trust
- displaying an email address that is not from a trusted domain from the organisation
- asking you to provide sensitive information like your driver’s licence and bank account details.
