Jeremy & Evie have done a great job collecting and donating over 100kg of citrus for the The Whangarei Lions Club's "Citrus for the South" campaign.

This is an annual winter initiative where Northlanders donate excess citrus to be transported for free by Mainfreight to South Island communities, including Christchurch, Dunedin, and Clyde. All up the club was able to package up over 320 banana boxes of fruit, a total of approximately 6 tonne!

Thanks to everyone who supported this amazing local initiative, and good on ya Jezza!!!

Wishing our Northland neighbour's, and the rest of New Zealand a relaxing Matariki weekend.

Rate watch..
Banks have been quietly rejigging their fixed rates over the last 10 days, ahead of the OCR call on 8 July.

Interestingly economists have picked at least two more OCR increases this year, but that's not what we've seen played out.

Short term rates have crept up a smidgen while longer term rates have actually come down, which points to swap rates driving these moves more than the OCR itself.

If you're thinking about fixing soon, which term you pick matters more than usual at the moment. We're keen to see how the banks react once the OCR call lands on the 8th.

Are you floating or fixed right now? Drop a comment, always interesting to see what everyone's doing 😎

ASB, ANZ, and Westpac send mixed rate signals ahead of July's OCR call

Proud moment for our Northland team at Key Mortgages 🎉

We’re incredibly excited to share that we’ve been nominated for two Kiwi Adviser Network Awards:
- Outstanding Advice Business (1 - 5 Years)
- Finalist - Outstanding Mortgage Adviser (Regional)

Bit late sharing this news (much at all) - been absolutely bum up, flat stick lately - and now holding our breath to see who takes out the win 👀 but to be recognized as one of the top 5 finalists amongst fastest growing aggregator 800+ reputable advisers across NZ is something we’re hugely proud of.

Massive thank you to our clients, referral partners, friends and supporters for the trust, reviews, repeat business and referrals. We genuinely wouldn’t be here without you 🙌
