💙 Westport North School gets behind Dunk it for Plunket again!

Westport North School has kindly got behind Dunk it for Plunket again this year, and they’ve outdone themselves! 🎉

Last year, the school raised an amazing $260, and this year they’ve beaten that, raising an incredible $329 for Plunket! 👏

Dunk it for Plunket runs throughout September, raising funds to support the work we do to keep whānau and tamariki under five supported. The idea behind Dunk it for Plunket is all about coming together, celebrating, having fun and raising some money along the way. Communities and schools can interpret the challenge however they like, and Westport North School certainly put their own fun spin on it by dunking a teacher! 💦

It was a fantastic way to get the whole school involved, including the tamariki. After receiving the most votes, Whāea Jendy was the lucky teacher chosen to take the plunge! She was such a great sport, dressing up and putting on a fantastic performance for the children before getting dunked. 😂💦

A massive thank you to Westport North School for getting behind the fundraiser for another year and for the awesome effort they put into making it such a fun event for everyone. We really appreciate their ongoing support and the $329 raised for Plunket. 💙

We’re so grateful for this wonderful relationship and hope to continue it for many years to come!

🎉 THANK YOU, WESTPORT! 🎉

What an amazing morning celebrating the official opening of our refreshed Westport Plunket Clinic! 💜

A huge thank you to all the whānau, community members, organisations and supporters who came along, walked through our beautiful new space, and joined us for a morning of fun.

Massive thank you to Robyn from Buller reap for helping us run our music and movement group -It was so special seeing the tamariki getting involved, dancing, singing and enjoying the face painting, and bringing so much life and laughter into the clinic. This space is here for our local families, and it was wonderful to open our doors and share it with you all.

A very special thank you to Westport Kindergarten for their beautiful haka performance. What an incredible way to acknowledge and celebrate this special occasion — we are so grateful for your contribution. ❤️

It truly takes a community to create something special, and we feel incredibly lucky to have such wonderful organisations, businesses and whānau supporting Plunket and the families we work alongside.

Thank you again to everyone who came along and celebrated with us. We can’t wait to welcome more whānau through our doors and continue making this space a welcoming place for our community. 💙

A huge thank you to West Coast Community Trust for your incredible generosity and support for our Westport Plunket renovation project.
Your contribution has made a real difference in helping us create a warm, welcoming and functional space for the many whānau, babies and tamariki who use our services. We are so grateful for your investment in our community and for helping us bring this project to life.
