It has been a while since I have updated on here, and this update is long overdue!!!! 2022 was a year packed with opportunity and change, and 2023 is shaping up to be an exciting time for us all. Mark Forsyth and I are now UK-based and looking forward to working more closely with our UK clients. It will be wonderful to renew our connections here and have face to face meetings instead of over zoom.

This has also meant there are some exciting changes back at HQ in New Zealand. We are absolutely delighted to announce that David Gaffney is our new CEO. We know the leadership and direction of the company will be in great hands with David at the helm. David is a true people person with a talent for seeing the big picture as well as the details. He shares our delight in solving problems creatively and our passion and unwavering belief that customer feedback must be impactful. We've loved working with David in his role as Head of Growth and Strategy. Taking on the CEO role seems like a natural progression and we are all excited for this next chapter in the BigEars story.

Mark and I still remain very involved with the company at all levels. And although I am not CEO anymore I am still (and always will be ) BigEars Chief Enthusiast!

The team here at BigEars would LOVE to enlist your help.
It will only take you 5 minutes and supports a great charity!

We have a brand new survey tool we have been developing.
But before we launch it with a real customer we would love some friendly people to take it for a test drive to uncover any gremlins and save us from embarrassment :)
There are 2 steps to helping us out.
A quick google form to register your info (2min)
Doing the survey (takes 2-3min)

Firstly - if you are keen - please could you fill in the attached google form. This will give us all the info we need to include you in the trial and analyse the post trial results.
Then, later today, or tomorrow, we will send you an invitation to complete the survey - this will be by text message and/or email. You can complete the survey on your phone or on your laptop/desktop.

We are trialing a new tool and a new methodology. The questions are written for the banking sector - so the idea is to imagine you are responding to a request from your bank for feedback about how well they are meeting your needs as a customer. You will be able to give feedback on just one, or many, customer needs that we have identified. You can choose to give your answer by typing or by voice. At the end there will be a question where you can tell us about any problems you encountered while completing the survey, or any thoughts you have on the process.

The CEO of one of our customers - is embarking on a biking adventure in Italy next week - he is cycling 144 km each day in order to raise money for Heart Kids. So, in support of him and the Heart Kids charity we will donate $2 for everyone who tests this survey for us.

We are trying out a new methodology and I need some willing folks to take it for a test drive. BigEars will donate $3 to The Wellington City Mission for every completed survey - it honestly will take you 3 minutes tops - there are only 3 questions - DM if you are keen and we will send you details (can be done from anywhere in the world) THANK YOU!!!!

It's that time again - we're on the look-out for transcribers to join our Wellington team. If you're a good listener, a stickler for correct grammar and spelling, and you're happy to work independently from home, this may be the part-time job for you! You'll need your own equipment: a computer, keyboard, headphones, and a good internet connection. We have work available on weekdays, 9:30 to 3:30.
