A few local spots worth a shout out after a pretty good weekend around the Bay.

Date night at Fife Lane, the first swim of the season thanks to The Sauna Project, plus a couple of our regular coffee stops.

If you haven’t checked these out yet, definitely worth a visit.

- SOUL BOUL in the Mount for an epic smoothie bowl and coffee.

- Pacifica Papamoa for a coffee while the kids hit the new playground, which absolutely goes off.

- The Sauna Project Mount Maunganui for a sauna and ocean dip.

- Fife Lane Kitchen & Bar for a date nights with friends.

Pretty lucky to have all of this on our doorstep. Bring on summer!

Rang the bell.

Back in August I set myself a goal - run sub 1:40 half marathon.

Last Saturday night - got the W.
But here’s what you don’t see behind that photo.

You don’t see the sessions with my run coach .endurance who helped me actually train smart, not just train hard. You don’t see the nutrition overhaul with .matapo - the small daily habits that quietly made a massive difference. You just see the PB bell.

And that’s kind of the point.

The result only happened because I stopped winging it and trusted the right people. Blokes who knew more than me, who gave me a plan, and who kept me accountable when I probably would’ve talked myself out of it.

It’s not that different from getting your finances sorted, to be honest. Anyone can Google KiwiSaver or look up an insurance policy but the people I see make real progress are the ones who back themselves enough to get proper advice and actually act on it.

Surround yourself with the right people and the results tend to follow.

Next up - Taupo marathon.
Just hope Marge doesn’t mind the longer Sunday morning disappearing acts while she holds the fort with the kids…

What a day at the Share Golf Tournament.
Held at the stunning Akarana Golf Course, we couldn’t have asked for better weather or company.

I had the pleasure of partnering with Taylor Cumberland, who absolutely carried us through to a solid third place finish 🥉 Huge congrats to Josh and Colin on taking the win — well deserved!

Always great catching up with fellow Share advisers outside the office, enjoying some friendly competition and a few laughs along the way.

Now spending the rest of the weekend exploring and relaxing with Margot
