Last week, our tenant at 152 Fanshawe Street Capgemini hosted a blood drive, bringing together people from across the building and the surrounding area to support the work of the NZ Blood Service. The result was an incredible community effort: 34 units of blood collected, 16 first-time donors, and up to 102 lives impacted.

A huge thank you to the Capgemini team for organising the initiative, and to everyone who rolled up their sleeves to donate. It's a great example of the positive impact that can happen when businesses, communities and individuals come together behind a shared purpose.

We're proud to support initiatives like this within our properties to help create spaces where community connections thrive.

The recently completed end-of-trip facilities at 70 Gloucester Street are a great example of how targeted property enhancements can make a meaningful difference to the tenant experience.

Designed by Spaceworks Interior Architecture, the upgraded facilities provide secure bike storage, changing rooms and amenities that support healthier, more sustainable ways of commuting.

For PMG, projects like this are about creating workplaces that respond to evolving tenant expectations, helping attract and retain quality occupiers while supporting the long-term performance of the asset.

As the way people work continues to evolve, practical improvements that enhance everyday experiences play an important role in keeping commercial properties relevant, functional and future-ready.

Recently, the PMG Direct Childcare Fund acquired The Maples Early Childhood Education (ECE) centre in Te Awamutu, marking the Fund's 16th ECE acquisition.

The purpose-built centre was created to meet growing demand for quality early childhood education within the Frontier Estate community.

Congratulations to PMG Facilities Manager Finlay Ansell-Jones, who has been named a finalist in the Young Achiever of the Year category at the 2026 Property Council New Zealand Central Property People Awards.

Finlay was nominated in recognition of his contribution to PMG, the wider property industry, and the leadership he has demonstrated early in his career.

Since joining PMG and progressing from Property Coordinator to Facilities Manager, Finlay has played an important role in supporting the performance of our nationwide property portfolio, leading sustainability initiatives across the business and driving a proactive approach to health and safety as Chair of our Health & Safety Committee.

Whether coordinating major maintenance projects, supporting climate resilience initiatives, or leading the response to challenging operational events, Fin consistently demonstrates professionalism, initiative and maturity beyond his years.
