What a fantastic day today at Bridge to bridge.
A hot one and dry one.
We even had a fire to keep everyone that little bit warmer, but seriously luckily only 1 rider diverted and everyone else safe, but it sure puts you on your toes as a Race Director for everyone's safety.
There were some fantastic rides throughout the events and with Mathew Fairbrother literally riding away with the 115km enduro ride, was one of the highlights in 4 hours 21 minutes 35 seconds on a tough course following the floods, it gave the riders a bit of everything, and head winds up to the gorger plus the fire, which wasn't close enough to cause any safety concerns.

Next Bridge to Bridge is the North Race which is going to be a Festival event with the Ultra Run on the Saturday and the bike on the Sunday June 13&14, 2026
