🌟 Reflections on Matariki 🌟
Matariki, the Māori New Year, is a time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. As the Matariki stars rise, they remind us of three important principles: remembering the past, celebrating the present, and looking to the future.
At NZHL, Matariki is an opportunity to reflect on the year that's been and express gratitude for the people who make our work so rewarding – our clients, team members, business partners, and communities.
It's a time to appreciate the simple things: spending time with whānau, sharing stories, celebrating achievements, and recognising the support we receive from those around us. As Melody Beattie wisely said, "Gratitude turns what we have into enough."
Matariki also encourages us to think about success and what it really means. While financial milestones and business achievements are worth celebrating, some of the most meaningful successes can't be measured in numbers. They're found in the resilience shown during challenging times, the goals achieved through determination, and the positive impact we have on the lives of others.
Every day, we're privileged to work alongside people taking steps towards a better financial future—whether that's buying a first home, reducing debt, building wealth, or creating greater financial freedom for their families.
