80% of you have failed at this already....
Happy New Year, New Zealand!
Is it too late to wish you that three weeks into 2025? Nah,,,, it’s never too late—just like how we never quit our New Year's resolutions, right....right?
Now as we dive into another year, everyone starts thinking about those popular New Year’s resolutions: like working out, sticking to a diet, saving more money... basically, committing to a life of carrot sticks and gym selfies. But here's the kicker: if you've actually set one, there's an 80% chance you’ve already thrown in the towel—perhaps along with that kale smoothie!
Speaking of resolutions, personally our big one for 2024 was to stay alcohol-free for the whole year. When the clock struck midnight on New Year's Eve, instead of clinking glasses, we celebrated with the high five of “Yes, we did it!”—and no hangover! That’s a celebratory win I want you to join us in this year no matter what goal you have set yourself!
Now, let’s talk about finances. A lot of folks think a great way to stay on the budget wagon is to become a total miser—cutting costs like you're auditioning for a role as the Grinch! Hardly sounds like a blast, right? “Fun” is something no one shouts from the rooftops with that scenario!
And after 25 years of helping regular Kiwi’s with their finances, I've seen this happen too often: people create such strict budgets that they’re plotting their escape three weeks in—already feeling defeated before the year has even fully started! Now come on, it’s like stepping into the new year with one arm tied behind your back!
Let’s set the tone right now—otherwise, this year will blend into another one of those “eh, maybe next time” kind of years.
And here’s a little truth bomb: if you’ve got a mortgage and your financial plan is sitting there looking as organised as a teenager's room, you’re pretty much doomed before you even step out the door. The real winners there are your bank or lender, cashing in on interest like it’s a game of Monopoly!
But here’s the silver lining: I’ve got a lifeline for those who’ve already landed off the wagon in 2025! I’m inviting you to join a FREE 1-hour webinar this Tuesday at 7:30 PM, where I’ll demonstrate six easy steps to whip your finances back into shape and help you potentially save around $279,000 in interest over the life of your mortgage.
So, what do you have to lose? (Well, quite a bit, actually!) and that's why you need to hit that link below to register and let's turn 2025 around together.
