Mānawatia a Matariki mā Puanga ✨

As we welcome Matariki and Puanga, this time of year is an opportunity to pause, reflect and spend time with the people who matter most.

In Taranaki and other parts of western Aotearoa, many iwi observe Puanga rather than the Matariki star cluster. Because it's more visible from this part of the country, Puanga marks the Māori New Year for many communities.

However you're spending the long weekend, we hope it's a chance to remember, reconnect and look ahead with hope.

From all of us at TSB, Mānawatia a Matariki mā Puanga.

The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) has reported an increase in scams on social media that use well-known organisations' names, logos and branding to appear genuine.

Many of these scams promote free investment education, webinars or online learning opportunities to gain people's trust. They encourage people to continue the conversation through other channels like online chats or groups, share personal information or send money.

Before clicking, signing up or sharing your details, take a moment to verify it's legitimate by visiting the organisation's official public website or contacting them directly using their publicly listed contact details. If something doesn't feel right, stop and check before taking the next step.
