A New Nelson Home for Bayleys!

We’re delighted to welcome Bayleys Nelson to the Nelson Mail Building, where the team opened the doors to their new premises at the end of September.

The move marks another chapter in our relationship with Bayleys, following the Richmond team’s arrival at Upper Queen Street Shopping Centre in May. With Franchise Director Glenn Dick leading both offices, it’s a pleasure to now welcome the Nelson team to our tenant community as well.

Ahead of their arrival, the space was updated to suit the team’s way of working and reflect the Bayleys style. Our Facilities Manager Dean Bensemann project managed the fit-
out, helping bring together a new home for the business and a welcoming space for its clients.

Building relationships and helping tenants make a space their own is an important part of what we do. We’re pleased to have been part of this move and wish Glenn and the Bayleys Nelson team every success in their new location.

Team Gibbons was back at Lower Queen Street recently with the Te Tauihu Environment Trust and Battle for the Banded Rail, checking in on last year’s 200 native plants, weeding, replacing a few that didn’t make it, and adding another 225 along the Great Taste Trail.

It’s all part of the ongoing work to restore native habitat around the Waimea Estuary, and a good reminder that these projects don’t stop once the plants are in the ground!

Once again, it was a great opportunity for our wider Gibbons team to volunteer together while supporting the local organisations doing the ongoing work to restore and care for these areas.

🌼 Daffodil Day - 28 August 🌼

Team Gibbons is a proud supporter of the Cancer Society Nelson Tasman and its iconic, much-loved fundraising campaign, Daffodil Day.

Today, we met some of the amazing volunteers who make this day possible. Spreading sunshine along the way.

Please join us in supporting Daffodil Day this year!

🚧🤝 It was a pleasure to welcome our neighbours from the Upper Queen team (Gibbons NZ) for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Richmond Mall redevelopment following our monthly catch-up.
It's always great to share the exciting progress happening at the centre and strengthen the partnership we have with our local neighbours. Working together helps us create an even better experience for our community.
Thanks to the Michelle and Dean for taking the time to visit—we're looking forward to sharing more milestones with you as the redevelopment continues! 👷✨

Last week we were absolutely humbled to receive the Fundraiser Champions trophy from Nelson Tasman Hospice for our efforts in this year’s Heave for Hospice campaign 🏆

While we’re honoured by the recognition, we know the real champions are the amazing Nelson Tasman Hospice team and volunteers who provide such compassionate care and support to people and families in our community every single day 🙌

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who donated, supported, and cheered us on 💛 Together with businesses, schools, community groups and individuals support, we helped raise an incredible $180,000+ across May! 🎉

We feel very lucky to have played a small part in supporting such an important organisation.
