Tuesday night's event was another great one, surrounded by lots of amazing women and hearing from Heather Hale about all things fashion, style and first impressions.

But more importantly, Heather's message was about feeling comfortable, confident and like yourself 🙌😍

🤩 Who doesn’t love a bit of friendly competition? 🤩
A few weeks ago, Kirsty from our Palmerston North Office, took part in a debate team at the local Quote Monster Debate event, alongside Daniel Anderson from Thrive Financial and Regan Thomas from Money Tree Financial Services Ltd.
Their topic was a slightly controversial one ...
“Life insurance commissions in New Zealand are too high.”
They argued the affirmative side and, after a fair bit of preparation and a whole lot of nerves, managed to put forward a strong case, convince the audience and take the win! 🏆
It was a great morning of friendly competition, good laughs and genuinely thought-provoking discussion about our industry 🤔
A huge thanks to Daniel and Regan for being great teammates and to Quote Monster for putting on such a great event. It was definitely a fun one to be part of!

Born and raised in the Tararua region, Jess is a proud local who works with clients throughout Manawatū and Wairarapa, helping businesses, families and individuals protect what matters most.
What we love about Jess is her genuine, down-to-earth approach. She takes the time to get to know her clients and build long-term relationships, making insurance feel a little less complicated and a lot more personal.
When she's not helping clients, you'll likely find her in the garden, out enjoying nature, or spending time with her two daughters.

🐀 Don’t Let Rats Chew Through Your Peace of Mind!

We’ve noticed a rise in insurance claims for damage caused by rats and the earlier you spot the signs, the better you can protect your home (and your wallet).

🔍 What to look for:
- Fresh gnaw marks on wood, wires, or pipes
- Small black droppings in cupboards or along skirting boards
- Scratching or scurrying sounds in walls or ceilings at night

If you suspect rats, act quickly as they can cause costly damage in a short time. Regular checks could save you from a nasty surprise and a big repair bill.

💡 Tip: Prevention is always cheaper than a claim. Seal gaps, store food securely, and keep outdoor areas tidy.
